Buyer Questions
Q. How often do you have these sales?
A. Our Spring/Summer sales are typically in March/April and our Fall/Winter sales are in September/October of each year.

Q. Are children allowed on opening day?
A. Yes, although it is very crowded, and the lines to checkout can be very long.

Q. Are the sales located indoors?
A. Yes. All sales are located in air-conditioned/heated buildings.

Q. Are there any parking fees or entrance fees?
A. There are no parking fees at the Grapevine or Plano sales. The Arlington Convention Center charges a $5 parking fee.

Consignor Questions
Q. Who can consign their items and become a seller?
A. Anyone can consign their children’s, junior's and maternity items with Divine Consign. We request that you have a minimum of 20 items or $50 worth of items.

Q. Who does the pricing?
A. You set your own price and you get to decide if it is discounted on our half-price day. Check out our Merchandise Prep page for pricing guidelines.

Q. What percentage of my items can I expect to sell?
A. Most sellers sell approximately 80% of their items in sizes 2-10. For sizes under 24 months the percentage drops due to the sheer volume of merchandise received. People also tend to receive infant clothing as gifts, hand me downs etc. The older sizes (12-16) also will sell a lower percentage as children become pickier as they near the pre-teen years.

Q. How do I sign up to consign?
A. Just click on our Register Online and follow the instructions.

Q. When do I pick up my unsold items?
A. Check out our Calendar page, Drop Off/Pick Up page or Consignor page for sale pick up times.

Q. Do I have to sort through the racks to find my unsold items?
A. No, when you pick up your unsold items, your hanging garments will already be sorted by Consignor# for easy pickup. As time and volunteer sign-ups allow, we hope to have all of the other items sorted, too.

Q. How long does it take to receive my check?
A. Your check will be mailed to you in approximately seven days of the end of the sale.

Q. Will I know what items have sold?
A. One of the great new things about the online tagging system is that you have an inventory after entering your tags and you see online what has sold. Your online account is updated every morning before we open, so you can see what sold the day before.

Q. Where do I find safety pins/coat hangers?
A. Most dry cleaners will give you a modest amount of these items free. If you need a lot, ask if you can buy them. Most of the time dry cleaners will sell you these supplies at a reduced amount (cheaper than discount stores). The other place to try is your local $1.00 store. Wal-mart no longer carries the child sized wire hangers. Tina and Stephanie have a limited number of bundles of hangers that can be bought from them for about 50/$5. If you’re interested, you can call them to set up a time to purchase hangers from them.

Q. If I consign my items, do I have to stay during the sale?
A. No. Consignors drop off their items and put them out on the selling floor during the designated drop-off times and come back during the designated times to pick up their unsold items.

Q. What items are you taking?
A. We accept anything related to babies, children, juniors or maternity. The clothing must be current season. For our September sales, we will be accepting only Fall/Winter clothing. For our March sales, we will be accepting only Spring/Summer clothing. Other great items are toys, books, videos, strollers, baby equipment, nursery items, large play equipment, cribs, changing tables, etc. We DO NOT accept bedding, socks, underwear/panties, and stuffed animals unless they are battery operated.

Q. What about shoes?
A. We are once again taking shoes at all three locations. We will accept shoes in sizes newborn-size 4. Shoes must be tied in pairs by shoelaces or ribbon. Laces and shoes must be in excellent condition. Attach a tag with a large safety pin or hole punch and tie the tag on the laces with ribbon or put the shoes in a ziplock and put the tag on the bag. Be PICKY! Please help us keep our reputation of selling high quality items. Shoes will be inspected along with clothing. We will be inspecting shoes again after drop off. Any shoes that do not meet our requirements will be returned to the consignor after the sale, or donated if they are marked to be donated. Limit of 5 pairs per consignor.

Q. What about stuffed animals?
A. We only accept battery operated stuffed animals (lights, sound, movement).

Volunteer Questions
Q. Can anyone sign up as a volunteer and attend the volunteer presales?
A. Yes, anyone may sign up to volunteer on a first come/first serve basis.  You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer.

Q. How long are the shifts?
A. See the Volunteer page for details.

Q. Do you provide childcare for volunteers?
A. We apologize, but we do not offer childcare at this time.

Q. I'm pregnant or have a medical condition.  Is it OK for me to volunteer?
A. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, you will want to volunteer when the workload is less. We have several shifts available with jobs that can be done sitting down. If you need these positions, please email us with your request after registering and we will try to accommodate your request. Please do not sign up for the set up or breakdown shifts. They are too hard on someone who is pregnant. Please let us know you are pregnant when calling to volunteer. We will help you select a shift that will be appropriate for you.

Presale Questions
Q. Who is allowed to shop at the presale?
A. Volunteers, consignors, and first time moms are able to shop at the presale before opening day. Every consignor and first time mom will receive a guest pass in order to bring along someone to shop with them!

Q. Can I bring my husband/wife/relative with me to the presale?
A. Each volunteer is given one wristband, for one person to enter the presale. If you want to receive two wristbands, you may sign up to volunteer an extra shift. All consignors and first time moms will receive one guest wristband.

Q. Can I bring a stroller to the presale?
A. Yes. But because of the large crowds, it may be easier to bring a laundry basket and carry your items with you.

Q. Are children allowed at the presale?
A. No, except for the Presale With Kids. See Presale page for details.
